Strange things have taken place at this public house in Weston-by-Welland according to its landlords
and staff. The pub dates back to the early 18th Century and tales of a workman who perished there
seem to fuel the belief that the premises may be haunted especially as a headstone was discovered
buried under the floor!

Strange noises at night, bar taps turning on by themselves and glasses leaping off shelves
as well as mysterious cold spots and electrical disturbances are just some of the spooky events that
have been experienced there.
In the middle of the night, these 
taps seemed to have been
turned on by unseen hands....
