The Haunted Council House

Believe it or not, this council property is said to be Harborough's most haunted house, containing not
one but THREE ghosts that have haunted three consecutive families who have lived there. In the
Haunted Harborough DVD we interview one of the former occupants of the house, Les Harrald who
tells of a ghostly soldier that wanders about the house, the image of an old lady frequenting one of the
upper bedrooms and the mysterious sound of a baby crying - not to mention drawers and cupboards
flying open of their own accord! On one occasion, a council workman broke a limb after an
encounter with a ghostly hand on his shoulder causing him to tumble down the staircase!

In researching the history of the house I discovered a startling piece of information that corroborated
Les Harrald's account of the existance of at least one of the ghostly apparitions....the full account is
featured on the dvd.

there if you paid me..."
