Lynn Rogers

1962 - 2005

I met Lynn in 1989 through a mutual friend and our relationship blossomed, leading to the birth of two lovely children, Aaron in 1990 and Holly in 1992.

We began the 'Haunted Harborough' project together around 1996, gathering stories from lots of different sources, having been inspired by an article in The Harborough Mail at Halloween.

Lynn was unique. An inspiration and mentor to me, our children and anyone she met. She was full of fun and laughter but at the same time, quiet and gentle. She moved in a slow, exquisite way, always relaxed and rarely showed or expressed her inner worries.

However, on September 11th, 2005, after complaining of a severe headache, Lynn was rushed into Leicester Royal Infirmary and was diagnosed as having a massive stroke.

Sadly, at approximately 8.30am on September 13th, 2005 she died.

The hardest thing I have ever had to do in my whole life was to tell Aaron and Holly that their Mum had passed away....

Goodbye Lynn, you were an Angel on Earth and deserved to stay longer......
